The Old Globe Presents: “The First Wives Club”

Hello everyone! I know I’ve been telling you guys I’d be updating you guys on more Theatre events going around in San Diego and I know I haven’t been holding my part of the bargin. I’ve been making my apperance in downtown lately and will be doing so for the next couple weeks so hopefully you’ll stop by at one of our upcoming events and say Hi! [:

Anyways, So a lot has been going on in the Theatre world around the country just as well as San Diego. Recently, I have discovered A LOT more info about this summer’s Shakespeare Festival, and other upcoming shows at The Old Globe, and what’s coming up at The Civic Center as well as The Balboa Theatre.

Recently, Hundred Percent has joined forces with The Old Globe Theatre in hopes of spreading word around about they’re new upcoming Broadway-bond musical “The First Wives Club”. Based on the movie and best selling novel by Olivia Goldsmith. The show tells the story of former college friends reuniting when they reach they’re middle age and discover they all share the same unhappy story; their ungrateful husbands rocked them into a midlife crisis by leaving them for younger women. Throughout the show the audience becomes inspiried by these characters and watch as they renew their friendship and take their lives back in style. This show is a funny, moving and as well as empowering musical.

Be one of the first in the country to see this show before it becomes Broadway bound! I’ve been hearing great reviews about the cast and the artistic staff that I have no doubt that this show WILL sell out.

Since I will be working more closely with The Old Globe for the summer season, I will be updating you guys as much as I can and let you know of any ticket raffles or discounts coming up within the next few weeks! Until then check back often for the latest updates going on in downtown and in the Theatre world!
