Eclipsereleaseparty.com reports that New Moon has raked in more than $200 million at the domestic box office.

In its eighth day of release, Summit Entertainment’s “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” crossed the double-century mark making an estimated $206.1 million.

The domestic B.O. for “New Moon” easily eclipsed that of the first “Twilight” which amassed $192.8 million in 20 weeks.

In the first three days of the holiday frame beginning Wednesday, “New Moon” has grossed $41.4 million

It seems that resistance is futile when it comes to the Twilight Saga franchise.  This just proves how much devotion we are as fans.

I wonder if we can make it to $300 million?
