From Paris with Love Poster

I just finished watching From Paris with Love starring John Travolta & Jonathan Rhys Meyers . From watching the tube all week being bombarded with its trailers and marketing, it kinda piqued my interest.  Aside from seeing a shaven John Travolta, which I totally found uber weird, the movie was a delightful surprise.

Charlie Wax & Reese

The movie was short, 1 hour 35 minutes long, but was straight to the point.  The pace was good and I didnt find it lag or sputter at all.  What surprised me the most was the chemistry of the two characters in this film.  They were perfect for each other.  You had Travolta’s character, Charlie Wax who is the veteran “secret agent”, and Meyers character, Reese as the new training!  It kinda reminded me of bad cop/good cop but with smirky humor.

Travolta’s performance in this film was just awesome!  He totally nailed his character with his witty banter and cocky attitude!  There were a lot of instances that his humor shined either with words or his action/reaction on screen.

Over all, I recommend you to watch this flick.  It’s entertaining from the plot to action sequences plus Travolta’s comedic performance.  It gets 9.5 out of 10!
